They are boxy in style with great head style. 2023 Alpaca Quebec Spring Show: One of a Kind was awarded the Supreme Adult Male and was a Stand Out! in his group. You open up the fleece and it has a WOW! factor. The architecture, staple formation, the independent staples, the organisation, the uniformity and structure across the blanket is representative of an elite fleece. At the 2023 Alpaca Quebec International Fleece Show, One of a Kind received for his 3rd fleece, 84 points showing 24.5/25 for Finesse & Handle, 10/10 for lack of guard hair, 8.5/10 for crimp, 4.5/5 for density. Stunning fineness of secondaries and primaries throughout! One of a Kind is just that. ONE OF A KIND! He is a combination of the Xclipse's Belenis line with Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX. This combination resulted in a very uniform fleece with an SD 2.2 and 100% comfort. One of a Kind's 2022 SGS histogram also showed an SD below 3 at 2.7 and again 0% over 30. 2023 SGS histogram, that just came in, continues to show a very uniform results with just 0.1% >30 and an SD of 3.3 on a now working male. One of a Kind has a develop structured fleece, long, luxurious and buttery and received comments as "Good uniformity, crimp, brightness and OUTSTANDING! Daughter of Supreme Champion, Red Granites Pallaton, now residing in Poland! These genetics are VERY LIMITED in Canada! Remarkable right from birth with twists and twirls of fleece on a solid 20lb frame! Not only is Namaari developing into a phenomenal young female, she is also a total sweetheart (fitting as the meaning of her name is "truly pure heart") We are incredibly proud of Namaari's debut at the Alpaca Quebec spring show! She won FIRST PLACE in the juvenile female fawn class and went on to win the COLOUR CHAMPION!! Judge Wade Gease credited Namaari for "producing loads of fleece that was both fine and uniform, as well as having a great body structure - a real stunner!!" Namaari finished FIRST in a competitive class of 7 at the Rockton World's Fair and continued on to win RESERVE CHAMPION in a combined male/female class behind the best in show winner!! Judge Cathy Merkley was particularly impressed with how tight and uniform her crimp was along the entire staple commenting that these fleeces are the ones most likely to maintain fineness with age. Namaari's winning streak has continued in 2023 with a RESERVE CHAMPION win at the Alpaca Quebec show in April and a COLOUR CHAMPIONSHIP at the Navan Fair in August. We took Namaari to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in November of 2023 and she won FAWN CHAMPION!! Judge, Stephanie Glyptis, commended Namaari on her strength of frame and overall conformation, excellent length of staple with a great deal of organization along the staple and consistent in micron across her blanket. With her incredible show career behind her, we are excited to see what caliber of offspring she will produce. One of a Kind was always on our radar for Namaari's first breeding and we are thrilled to finally announce, after 377 days gestation, that she had a GIRL! This light bundle of curls was totally worth the wait and Namaari is completely smitten!!
