We call Ramita our "diamond in the rough" - A poster child for the importance of genetic background. Let's face it .... she just isn't a show girl. But she comes from three generations of careful, "NeverSummer" breeding matches. Ramita's sire, Tickity Boo Dino, has extremely nice handle to his fleece, and bold crimp too. He won several top awards during his show career in Canada. Dino comes from two gray parents, and has produced exceptional offspring. Offspring: In 2010, Ramita had her first cria is an absolutely stunning, TRUE BLACK, Aussie .38 Special daughter. "NEVERSUMMER'S LUCILLE" received the Blue Ribbon in a super competitive class of 8 at the 2011 International Alpaca Odyssey where the three judge panel placed her above last year's Futurity Color Champion! In his orals Dr.Julio Sumar (one of the three judges) commented on her fineness, uniformity, heavy dense locks and extreme luster. Lucille won two color championship banners at IAO in 2012. In 2011, Ramita delivered 38'S RENDEZVOUS NS, another beautiful Aussie .38 Special cria with a fabulous fleece! This time its a CMRG male with "Herdsire" written all over him. It was an "OMG!" moment when we cria sheared the handsome fellow. His fleece is so reminiscent of big sister Lucille - super lustrous, silky, dense, well-organized locks. In 2012, Ramita followed that up with a lovely MSG Aussie .38 Special daughter, NEVERSUMMER'S GLORY DAZE. Glory Daze was a multi ribbon winner on the 2014 show circuit. In 2014, Ramita had ESTATES REBEKAH, a lovely bay black female, sired by NeverSummer's US Steel. Steel is a handsome Aussie .38 Special son who inherited his sire's trademark silky handle.

Earl Grey has his sire's outstanding coverage, large bone, and macho, wedge shaped full head, and stunning classic dark silver-grey color. Earl Grey is sired by DSG multi-champion, Applewoods Phantom. His multi-champion fawn dam is Silver Rose Elegance (who has Cochiti and Legacy as close genetics). Not only are his dam and sire champions, all of his grandparents are champions as well! His paternal grandsire is Jerimiah’s Qualtrain and five-time champion grey. This makes for an impressive pedigree that boasts of Majestic Peruvian Jerimiah, MFI Peruvian Jericho, HA Shades of Grey, Peruvian Presidio, PPPeruvian Augusto, 4Peruvian Legacy, Augusto, Cochiti, Caligula, and Victor! Unfortunately, the covid pandemic limited Earl Grey’s show career. Earl Grey has a beautiful handling fleece in a uniform dark silver-grey color. The color is uniform across his body. The micron range is uniform between his white and black fibers. His first histogram displayed a 17.2 micron, 4.4 standard deviation, and 2.2% over thirty micron. He also carries a very long staple length. The crimp is consistent across his blanket and has a high frequency. The fleece shows great brightness with an excellent degree of density. MC1R + ASIP Genotype: Ee aa Earl Grey has already displayed his ability to pass these traits onto his offspring. His 2023 daughter, Estates Danish Silver Mermaid, is currently a 4x Champion with numerous Blue Ribbons. His 2022 son, AspenAlpacas The Duke, won 2 Color Championship banners & 3 Blue Ribbons in 2024. His 2024 daughter, Estates Colette's Shadow won 2nd Place at the 2025 AOA National Show, and just brought home a Blue Ribbon from the 2025 Golden West Alpaca Expo! NEVERSUMMER'S LUCILLE Lucille has simply a stunning fleece! It is exceptionally dense with unworldly brightness. And with a SD of 2.9 and CV of 16.3 it also has a luscious handle. What an amazing end product it will produce! At the 2011 IAO, under a panel of 3 International judges, Lucille received the 1st Place (above the Futurity Black Color Champion!). Then, in her first fleece show, she was awarded the Reserve Color Champion (Scoring just 1/2 a point below the Color Champion!) Because Lucille's fiber IS so silky, her density is hard to assess while on her body. It doesn't have the "poofy" volume that is so often mis-leading. But when you go to lift the bag of it you are amazed at the weight. Very much like a Suri's fleece. Lucille is a daughter of the legendary Aussie .38 Special (17x Champion, 2x Judge's Choice, Herdsire of the Year; at the age of eight, he won the “Spirit of the Industry” recognizing the lasting quality of his fleece). Her paternal grandsire, Victor’s Hemiaccoyo Casanova, requires no introduction! Casanova has consistently produced offspring that are champions in the halter and fleece shows including his two most well-known sons - 10x Champion, Aussie Guns-N-Roses and 17x Champion, 2x Judge’s Choice winner, Aussie .38 Special. Casanova’s sire, PPeruvian Victor, was the youngest male that arrived in the Peruvian importation of 1994, and in the words of the late Dr. Jim Vickers, had the “most beautiful” fleece and was the only alpaca in that importation that ranked as a 4+ in fleece. On 10/30/15, Lucille gave us a beautiful LSG female sired by our NS Magic Flight. On 10/15/16, Lucille had a lovely MSG female sired by our Estates Avignon (NeverSummer’s US Steel son). On 6/9/18, Lucille gave birth to a beautiful LSG female sired by Estates Gray Beard, a beautiful-fleeced male with Aussie .38 Special genetics. On 6/19/19, Lucille presented us with a beautiful MSG female sired by our Champion/blue-ribbon winning US Steel son, Estates Silver Titan. On 7/4/21, Lucille gave birth to a handsome bay black male sired by Judge's Choice and 9X Champion, KVR's Peruvian True Eye Candy "Ike". On 4/24/24, Lucille presented us with a lovely MSG female sired by Crescent Moon's Casimir.
