THIS GUY IS SO COOL! WAHOO! from MaRS is everything you could want when adding appaloosa genetics to your herd. There's no compromising quality with this guy! INCREDIBLE CHARACTER TO HIS FLEECE EXCEPTIONAL STAPLE LENGTH EXTREME FINENESS UNIFORMITY Check out his fiber stats, they certainly don't disappoint! 22 Progeny to date, 68% are spotted! Wahoo's offspring are claiming ribbons in the show ring and in the fleece shows. He's throwing spots without compromising quality of the fleece, and he's adding to the uniformity! Rare Appaloosa Genetics! Wahoo's dam is the closest appaloosa descendant to LF Del a Burl, the handsome appaloosa male that was exported to Germany. With his departure, these genetics were limited to just two females in the United States-- one of which is MaRS Dixie-- Wahoo's dam. Dixie is the only appaloosa descendant of daughter from LF del A Burl in the U.S. In Germany, Burl went on to produce 50+ cria, the majority of which are appaloosa and/or patterned. We are limiting the number of outside breedings to Wahoo. We have several females that are currently bred to him that are available or will be in the near future.

Another one of our solid Highpoint crias! Beautiful dark fawn coloring from her dam, Cimmeria. Elysium (Elsa) is a surviving twin, the larger of two females, she was 10 lbs at birth. Elysium is smaller in stature but structurally solid with good bone. Her fleece shows consistent character across the blanket and up the neck. Good staple length! Pleasing head with tons of coverage. Correct bite. For her first cria she was bred to our Appaloosa, Wahoo from MaRS and the resulting cria was a heavily spotted appy boy, Chincoteague! We repeated the same breeding for 2025 and this time the pairing gave us a dark brown female, actually the same color as Elysium's twin.

Description

This heavily-spotted Wahoo son is EXACTLY what I was looking for when I decided to grow my appaloosa breeding program. He combines excellent density with wonderful uniformity across his blanket, and has gotten boasting comments from the judges on his fleece organization. Beyond his amazing fleece, his genetics are packed with some fantastic multi genetics and he is a 4th generation appaloosa himself! This is your chance to get some Pacific Northwest genetics in the Midwest! We cannot wait to see what he produces and look forward to getting his cria in the show pen. 'Cinco' has done wonderfully in the show ring so far, but has not had the opportunity to show in a championship class due to lack of patterned entries. He will be continuing his show career throughout spring 2026 and then will be ready to go to work as one of our up and coming herd sires!
