ESTATES MAUNA LANI Mauna Lani is a lovely bay black female. She is dense, fine, type, has loads of fiber, and a real cutie! Mauna Lani is out of Patagonia's Chilkoot (Lennox son), a GWAS 2013 Blue Ribbon Winner and Reserve Color Champion. Chilkoot was assessed by Amanda VandenBosch as an "A-" having "excellent fiber coverage with great phenotype." Mauna Lani's dam Macayla is the daughter of Nova’s Black Knight III, the 2004 Futurity Reserve Champion (and son of the legendary true black Snowmass Nova). Macayla who is out of the Snowmass Nova, 4Peruvian Matador, and Snowmass Peruvian Casanova. Her maternal granddam, Matalyn, is a Peruvian Matador daughter. Mauna Lani was a key member of our 2018 show string. Judge Peter Kennedy awarded her the Color Championship at the 2018 California Classic Round Up (out of a class of 12).
