Majestic Peruvian Crysanthemum is a producer of Champions! 3 of her 4 offspring have won Championships, and 2 have won Judge's Choice awards! Her sire, Dorian has been awarded 11 Championships and 3 Judge's Choice Awards. Crysanthemum has excellent conformation on a solid and well grown frame with fleece that is very uniform, soft to the touch and shows excellent coverage. Crysanthemum's most outstanding claim to fame is being the dam of our 23x Champion, 4X Judges Choice winner, StrongShepherd Apollo by Koolassal! But in addition, she has given us two beautiful daughters, both sired by Jeremiah's Peruvian Jumanji, and an excellent Champion bay black male, Rafael, sired by our Zagato son, Zintars. Her first daughter, Cecelia, is a multiple Champion and 2X judges choice winner as well! Crysanthemum will be re-bred in August to Triple Diamond Ranch's Castellanos after we tragically lost a female cria from this special pairing in July '25. Apollo is the perfect example of what we are looking for in a high-quality, seedstock herdsire, with his overall presence, perfectly balanced true-to-type frame, and his exceptionally uniform, dense fleece. To top it off he has an extremely gentle, calm temperament, so we think he's just about perfect! His lineage brings in some of the best genetics in the country, from his sire's Jumanji line to Dorian on his dam's side. His sire Koolassal is a Majestic Meadow's Jumanji son who's offspring are consistently excellent! Judges at virtually every show he attended from Fall 2020 through the end of Spring 2022 were wowed by his presence, stature and fleece characteristics, awarding him a total of 25 blue ribbons, 16 Color Championships, 4 Judges Choice awards, and 7 Reserve Championships including the AOA National Light Male Invited Champions RC, the AOA National Light Male RC and the AOA National Light Male Fleece RC. We are so proud to report that he has been awarded the National 2nd place High Point Huacaya Male for the Fall 2021-Spring 2022 AOA show season! Apollo is proudly co-owned with our StrongShepherd partners, Karen & Randy Strong, K-Ran Alpacas, Barb & Marc Sodums Shepherds Creek Alpacas.
