Silk N Acclaim is an outstanding female sired by champion Peruvian Protocol. She has excellent conformation marked by strong bone, level top line, good angulation and a typey suri head. Her fleece is dense and well locked with glowing luster. Silk was 1st and white color champion at the 2006 Denver, Great Western Show. We were excited that our maroon herdsire, Protocol, produced a champion white female who placed above those with all white ancestors and Accoyo bloodlines. Silk's dam, Elvira, a Fuego daughter, consistently produced color including black. Silk delivered her first cria an outstanding medium brown MacGyver son, Peruvian Wyldfyre, summer 2007. Wyldfyre went on to be a 3 time champion including GWAS Champion and AOBA National Res Champion from a group of nearly 40 brown suri males. Her 2009 cria, sired by Accoyo DaVinci, is a beautiful female, Sheer Delight, with bright, bright luster who was MOPACA champion. Silk's 2011 cria was a beautiful classic rose grey sired by Arappaho which unfortunately we lost at an early age. Silk is bred to DaVinci for a fall 2012 birth and we are hoping for another as nice as Delight. At this time we are offering both Silk and her daughter Sheer Delight and will keep one in the herd as this is an exceptional line.

AWH Eye of the Tiger by Poseidon has presented himself as a winner from the day he was born. He was a big baby and has remained the biggest boy in the herd. He has also maintained his stunning luster, and carries a very heavy, well-defined and uniform fleece. Eye of the Tiger is the 1st son of Poseidon to hit the show ring, and he made quite a splash. Tiger's sire, Poseidon (now owned by Derwydd Alpacas and Alpacas of El Dorado), comes from suri royalty, boasting bloodlines like Kahuna, Inca, Bruxo, and Ivory Gold. Tiger's dam, Tiger's Eye, has similar suri royalty in her pedigree, featuring Baron LaFite. MacGyver, Apache II, and Mr. Sapphire. She is a tall girl with real strength of frame and a tremendously soft, uniform fleece with all the luster you would expect from an alpaca of her quality. Here is an opportunity to add a Multipe Judge's Choice Female to your foundation herd and continue to produce Champions with her! She is the daughter of Tikanui, and with Silk N Acclaim as her mom she has a real advantage over many white females. While owned by Rogue Alpacas, Glory produced an amazing female with Spectacular Bid, now owned by Shambalah Alpaca Ranch. My favorite, though, was the spectacular son she gave me, AWH Tesla by Aston Martin. Tesla showed so well that judges pointed him out as a prime example of what a suri should be. Last summer she gave me a son by RGSA Vindication-- a stunning white male with brilliant luster. I kept him in full fleece so he can be shown to advantage next sprint. Her previous owner, Rogue Alpacas, biopsied Glory at 21 months. They report that her "fiber clusters appear uniform in shape and placement within her connective tissue on the 15X scan. Her density measures 47.25 follicles SQ MM on a tissue thickness of 3.76 MM. Her S/P ratio is 10.6 to 1 and she has level 3 of 4 glands. 80% of her secondary fibers show a degree of medullation. 100 typical secondary fibers measure 21.1 microns and 50 typical primary fibers average 25.2 microns for a variation of only 4.1 microns. Wow!! Glory’s AFD on July 18, 2018 figures 21.48 microns." Glory would be a fabulous addition to your suri females. She is being bred to AWH Poseidon's Eye of the Tiger for a summer 2026 cria.
