Irish Meadows' Endeavor is a stunning True Black breeding male. "E" is new to the herd. He will have many cria on the ground in August, 2024. His sire, Jacob Black, throws grey, so am excited to see what he can throw. Finger's crossed! What I was looking for, however, is his fiber characteristics. A tight, small crimp with an abundance of density, but staying very fine. His phenotype is lovely, perfect bit and solid bone structure. He is a complete package. Endy had a very successful 2024 breeding season. He produced 1 MSG Male, 1 DSG Female, 1 LB/RG Female and 1 DB Male. Each cria is beautiful. Density on all four, color and crimp style is uniform from shoulder to hip. And, of course, fineness. He will be busy again at Wintercreek this spring!

Wintercreek's Audra Steel is a beautiful MSG female. MSG daughter of Neversummer's US Steel. He was a 3X Futurity Herdsire of the Year (2016, 2017, 2018) small breeder division. Dam: WC's Catriona de Navarre (Grandsires: Paternal-Aussie .38 Special + Rayo del Sol; Maternal-Legends Challenger of KPR + SA P Black Epic) Audra's fleece is Very Dense and has a cottony handle. She has a very fine fleece, and has a good crimp. She is a fleece monster. Her blankets average at 4.5-5# each year. Her micron is 18.4 AFD in 2023. No show record because of Pandemic. Lost 1st cria to the heat and the male was sterile the next year because of the heat! Go Figure!! Audra's first offspring by Irish Meadow's Endeavor (TB) is wonderful. "Tavish" has a ton of fiber with excellent crimp and great structure. And, of course, very soft to the touch. He is a big boy at 58# at 5 months! His fiber is a lovely chocolate brown underneath those cria tips. Can't wait to make yarn from his fleecel Audra's purchase price will include a breeding before she leaves, to any of Wintercreek's Herdsires. I think that Odin's Picasso of Kolbe will be her next date. That should be an exciting breeding. Audra will be a stand-out new addition to any grey breeding program.
