Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX, a great addition to our herd since summer 2019. With the successful years of having Snowmass Pure Reserve XX and the offsprings he produced, we needed to find a herdsire that would continue the art of breeding and advance us into another level of quality in alpacas. In our 2020 crop of crias from Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX, we found just that, a consistent quality of strong, dense, fine, organised and uniform fleeces in these crias. Everlasting Highlander XX participated in 2 fleeces shows at 4 & 5 years of age where he showed elite results in all categories with comments "Crazy fine & uniform, especially for age" and " Quite impressive fineness of secondaries for age!!" Everlasting Highlander XX is a result of 30 years of committed passion in the improvement of alpaca genetics at Snowmass Alpacas. He is compact, dense, uniform with longevity of fineness showing at the age of 6 a histogram of 18.6/4.1/1.2>30 SF 18.3 with a curvature of 66!!! January 31, 2022. It's with great sadness that we announce that Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX passed away this morning. A necropsy will be done to try and understand his death.

Update 2025: Hermione takes first place in the ''Produce of Dam'' category at the 2025 Alpaca Ontario Spring Show. For your information, at the same competition, her daughter Select One of Kind's Exquisite won the Champion Supreme and Color Champion White titles in the Walking Fleece Show. She also won the Reserve Color Champion White (Female) at the Halter Show. Another of her daughter, Select Belenis' Dixie, took the title of Reserve Color Champion Light (Female) in the Halter Show. Hermione - APC is a unique female for our breeding program. She is ''THE FIRST'' foundation female we have selected for our herd. We made this choice on the recommendation of a well-known breeder who wanted help us by mentoring us to begin in the alpaca word. THANK YOU Ariya Alpacas. Grand daughter of none other than Maple Brook Barnabus, Hermione is an excellent founding female. She is maternal, with a very calm temperament and excellent health. Her fiber is characterized by superior length, character, density and brightness, as well as good fineness and uniformity. However, the most important point is that she passes on to her offspring the basis of her superior characteristics, which combined with those of the mated male give a WOW! Champion and Producer of Champions! Sa fibre se caractérise par sa longueur, son caractère, sa densité et sa brillance supérieure tout en ayant une bonne finesse et uniformité. Toutefois, le point le plus important est que celle-ci transmet à ces descendants la base de ses caractéristiques supérieures qui combinées à celles du mâle accouplé donne un WOW !
