WOW! We are delighted to add Irish Meadows’ Shadow to our herdsire lineup. He is everything we wanted to cross over our black lines, especially Sakima daughters. Quite frankly, we can cross him over every color! We have been looking for a black male that checks all the boxes especially in uniformity, staple length, and density on the fleece side. On the conformation side we needed a male that was without fault with great bone, coverage, and complimentary to our program. Genetically we wanted prepotent lines that we could depend on to produce top-tier quality offspring. Shadow had all that and more! His fleece style is reminiscent of Sakima with the tiny bundling, excellent uniformity, a dreamy soft handle, consistent crimp style, and an extended blanket area.
