ROCKSTAR’s Steely Dan is the handsome and confident two-year old son of two-time Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Neversummer’s U.S. Steel. Steely is very fine and inherited his sire’s trademark silky handle. In heavy competition, he placed very well taking a blue ribbon at the 2016 Futurity as a juvenile and blue ribbon as a yearling at GWAS 2017, in an extremely tough class. He additionally has won top honors in fleece at the 2016 Gold Country Gathering winning his fleece class and 2nd place in both halter and walking fleece. Judges have praised Steely for his overall level of uniformity, brightness, soft handle, and clean blanket which has an extremely low presence of guard hair. We expect Steely will retain his fineness, brightness, and signature soft silky handle well into adulthood as evidenced by his histogram results thus far. Both his sire and his dam, Bella Noche have strong grey pedigrees behind them and both have retained fineness into adulthood as evidenced by their fleece stats - Bella Noche is maintaining her fineness after 3 pregnancies with an AFD of 20.3, SD of 4.4, and CV of 21.9. Add to all of this Steely’s stellar conformational traits in which he exhibits very nice substance of bone, a compact frame, level topline, and perfect bite. We are anxious to see what this stylish young male will be able to produce. He’s taken quite an interest in the females as he comes up on his 2nd birthday. It would be no surprise if he were to have a long and successful career as a top notch breeding male. Topping it all off is Steely’s sweet disposition! He is super easy going like his sire US Steel, is easily handled, and is a true pleasure to work with. AMBER AUTUMN'S LADY AMEERA Lady Ameera is the daughter of the legendary 13X Champion, Kirwin. Kirwin has produced several champion crias in many colors and is maintaining his fineness and ability to pass his phenotype and fleece characteristics to his offspring. Her paternal grandsire is 8x Color Champion, Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol (out of the phenomenal MRG, Danko). Rayo was the 2002 Futurity Color Champion and 2001 and 2002 AOBA National Color Champion. He has sired countless champion offspring and is one of the premier grey herdsires in North America. Lady Ameera's dam is Kryptonite's Larissa, a multiple Blue-Ribbon winner! Her maternal grandsire, Crescent Moon’s Kryptonite, is an 8x Champion who has won 10 First Place awards. Kryptonite was a 2002 Futurity Champion! In addition, Kryptonite was a National Champion in 2002 & 2003. He was also the Futurity Reserve Black Male Champion. He won six additional Championships under many different judges & spanning three spring show seasons. In 2006, Kryptonite was sold for 1/2 interest for $175,000 making him second in line as the highest priced black alpaca ever sold. Offspring: On 5/16/12, Lady Ameera gave birth to a bay black female sired by RFA Turk. On, 10/5/14, Lady Ameera had a medium brown male sired by AML El Duro's Principio. On 10/2/15, Lady Ameera had a medium fawn male also sired by AML El Duro's Principio. On 7/13/18, Lady Ameera gave birth to a medium silver-grey male sired by Snowmass Silver Signature. On 3/16/21, Lady Ameera gave birth to a pretty medium silver-grey female sired by Rockstar's Steely Dan. On 6/10/22, Lady Ameera gave us a handsome dark brown male sired by Amber Autumn Troy. On 6/21/23, Lady Ameera presented us with a beautiful true black female sired by Amber Autumn Ameretto.

Patagonia Estates Sakima is a gorgeous jet-black male with fine, bright, and amazingly dense fleece. When you touch this fleece, your heart will melt! His fabulous dense bundling goes from head to tail, and from back to underbelly, and into his legs. He has a very soft handle, good substance of bone, excellent conformation, lock and character are extremely nice, and magnificent head and leg coverage. Genetics for Sakima include Snowmass Andean Midnight and Patagonia's Lennox, a magical combination for success! Sakima’s sire, Patagonia's Chilkoot (Lennox son), was assessed by Amanda VandenBosch as an "A-" having "excellent fiber coverage with great phenotype."
