Her fleece is dense, super crimpy with beautiful high frequency crimp. Her pedigree is spectacular!! Her sire is multi-champion, Applewood's Phantom. Phantom has a correct, strong frame with large bone. He has a gorgeous head and exceptional coverage. His fiber has a very high frequency and is very uniform. Rose's dam, Andina's Rose of Pearl is one of Aspen Alpaca's foundation females. She is a lovely modern rose grey female that is out of two animals that have both produced champions. Rose's maternal grandsire is Snowmass Silver Signature the "elite grey” from Snowmass Alpacas, used as the standard of excellence in their silver-grey breeding program. His histograms, awesome phenotype, and incredible conformation attest to this. The clarity of Silver Signature's grey fleece is so true and clear! It is really amazing! Her maternal grandame, Canyon View's Hanna, is a multi-champion as well! Rose has inherited the best of both parents, with fabulous fleece and a correct frame. On 5/18/22, Rose presented us with a handsome dark brown male sired by our gorgeous 4x Champion, Amber Autumn Troy. On 6/29/23, Rose gave us a lovely bay black female sired by our Internationally Recognized 6X Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima.

AspenAlpacas Earl Grey is an exceptional grey herdsire and we are excited about adding him to our breeding program. He stands out with his statuesque silhouette, proud presence, and gorgeous phenotype. He comes by this naturally from breeding two multi-champions. Earl Grey has his sire's outstanding coverage, large bone, and macho, wedge shaped full head, and stunning classic dark silver-grey color. Earl Grey is sired by DSG multi-champion, Applewoods Phantom. His multi-champion fawn dam is Silver Rose Elegance (who has Cochiti and Legacy as close genetics). Not only are his dam and sire champions, all of his grandparents are champions as well! His paternal grandsire is Jerimiah’s Qualtrain and five-time champion grey. Unfortunately, the covid pandemic limited Earl Grey’s show career. Earl Grey has a beautiful handling fleece in a uniform dark silver-grey color. The color is uniform across his body. The micron range is uniform between his white and black fibers. His first histogram displayed a 17.2 micron, 4.4 standard deviation, and 2.2% over thirty micron. He also carries a very long staple length. The crimp is consistent across his blanket and has a high frequency. The fleece shows great brightness with an excellent degree of density. MC1R + ASIP Genotype: Ee aa Earl Grey has already displayed his ability to pass these traits onto his offspring. His 2023 daughter, Estates Danish Silver Mermaid, is currently a 4x Champion with numerous Blue Ribbons. His 2022 son, AspenAlpacas The Duke, won 2 Color Championship banners & 3 Blue Ribbons in 2024. His 2024 daughter, Estates Colette's Shadow won 2nd Place at the 2025 AOA National Show, and just brought home a Blue Ribbon from the 2025 Golden West Alpaca Expo!
