Dam: Black N Bleu

Black N Bleu

SuriOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 31966252DOB: 9/9/201014 yrs
Black N Bleu is so black, she almost looks blue! Her fleece is beyond shiny. She is half sister to the amazing Jasper Alpaca, the very first alpaca to be registered as a Delta Society animal therapist! This little girl has shown the same sweet temperament and disposition as Jasper, making her ideal to handle. Bleu carries the exceptional genetics of the Mahogany Prince line- through her sire, Luxor of PVA- and the potential for the amazing mothering traits of her dam, Ruby. Black N Bleu's sire Luxor of PVA is a champion out of two champion parents. Luxor was sired by Supreme and multiple Champion true black, Kobe of PVA. Kobe has won both IAO Supreme Champion and AOBA Black Color Championships. He has over 63 suri offspring that have won over 23 Color Championships to date! Luxor's dam Little Duchess is the daughter of the famous PVA Mahogany Prince and Futurity Color Champion and First Place winner at MAPACA. PVA Mahogony Prince has proven to be one of the original "Legendary Sires" to make his impact on the North American Suri industry to date. He remains the highest selling Suri Male -- public or private. "Mahogony Prince" is one of the most predictable Suri hersires in the country. "Prince is dark fawn, full Peruvian, Domestic born and third generation color on his dam's side. he has the lock and luster from head to toe! Big heavy bones and great coverage. Exceptional conformation and nick named "The Headmaster" for his ability to stamp nice typey heads on his crias. He has produced all colors from blacks, browns, fawns, whites and even greys! Prince has sired over 137 crias todate and 100% suri cria, 90% colored, 60% females. He has sired over 81 award winning offspring. His progeny combined have won over 295 ribbons and his grandprogeny have earned over an amazing 500 ribbons. Many of his offspring have grown up and proven to be "Get of Sire" and "Produce of Dam" Champions as well. Mahogony Prince has proven to be an incredible outcross with Bolivian, Chilean and Accoyo genetics! With these fantastic PVA Mahongony Prince and Kobe PVA genetics, Bleu would be an excellent choice to start a quality herd or add fabulous depth to an existing herd. Stunning Fleece!

Wheel in the Sky

SuriHerdsire (Male)White, Medium Brown
AOA# 35077633DOB: 6/5/20214 yrs
When I saw this boy, I knew he had to be added to my herd. His mustache and goatee suits him so well, and he has the cutest markings. Mostly white with a brown spot on his side and one on the tip of his tail, which was super easy to skirt out come fleece processing time. When he was born I said he looks like a little French boy, and that has since become his name around the farm. This boy is FAST! Once you catch him, his fleece is noticeably soft and oh so shiny. Wheel in the Sky and our female Banana Cream Pie are both out of AWH Windchimes. Both seem to always look like they're smiling, and this boy is a character! He is such a sweet boy, sometimes if you just stand in the pasture he'll come up for neck scratches, then just stand next to you until you leave. Come feeding time, he does laps across the pasture sprinting as fast as he can and flinging his head around - definitely a fun sight to see. He's a happy boy, and we decided to give him a mullet at shearing time and boy does it suit him! I was so happy to add this boy to our herd, with genetics from Psylent Knight, Peruvian MacGyver, GVA Coaldust, Kobe of PVA, and more! We can't wait to see what this gorgeous boy can produce! This boy's histogram came back & I am blown away at the results. He's truly a stunning boy, and his fleece regrowth is already crazy! His fleece regrowth for this year was fantastic. We sheared off so much dense fleece, with amazing pencil like locks. He is such a stunning male and we are thrilled with him. He is maturing well and is now breeding. His fleece was sent to the mill to be spun, and their comments were "it spun like a dream! Softer than mink!!" During 2025 shearing, we discovered this boy has spots all down his top line - that was a nice surprise! Looking forward to seeing his offspring! Wheel in the Sky has settled his first female - who is now due any day now! Book your breedings today, he is eager and ready for your females!!

Description

Bess has some strong Suri genetics, from PPeruvian Torbio & Luxor of PVA. Her fleece is gorgeous, and is such a deep black. Bess wants to be curious and say hi to people, she's just a bit more cautious and would rather do it from a bit of a distance. She's great once haltered, and will go for a walk with ease. She's a great mom, and really is a sweet girl. Her first cria, Jackson - was out of GLR Suton, and my goodness is he fantastic. GLR Suton has genetics from Sierra Bonita's Sirius Black, Peruvian MacGyver, Cinders, and Silver Shadow (so even some grey!) He is a gorgeous true black boy, and the amount of luster in his fleece is to die for! At shearing, he wasn't even 8 months old and comments were made about how oily his fleece felt and how much luster it had! This year, we went for another true black - AWH Sniper's the Shadow, out of Sierra Bonita's Peruvian Sniper. My excitement went through the roof when I saw this baby was A GIRL! Bess is bred to Wheel in the Sky for a 2026 cria!
