RICKY is one of those very special alpacas that instantly steals your heart. Simply put, we love this boy! Along with his sweet and lovable personality, his fleece is beyond exceptional. At almost four years of age, this multi-champion male continues to produce a long-stapled fleece with remarkable brightness, soft hand, fineness, and uniformity throughout his blanket. Ricky was recently awarded Judge’s Choice at the 2022 Paoba Fleece Showcase. Judges praised his “fine and bright fleece with soft handle,” with one judge even wanting to take him home! Another judge called his fleece, quite simply, “sexy.” We are sending Ricky’s 5th fleece to the 2023 National Fleece Show. Even now, he continues to demonstrate strong fleece characteristics and impressive fleece weight, with his skirted show fleece exceeding 4 pounds.
