Patagonia’s Chilkoot is a compact herdsire with long staple length, fine fleece, and bright, luscious fiber. He has a beautiful head and compact body. In 2014, Chilkoot was assessed by Senior Judge, Amanda VandenBosch as an “A-.“ He has consistency in micron as well as in color, large bones, and a gentle temperament. His sire is Patagonia’s Lennox, the ultimate Multi-Champion herdsire. His dam, Patagonia’s Augusta, is a top-line production dam on our ranch. Augusta is a 3x Color Champion and received Reserve Champion at AOBA. Augusta also won 6 blues ribbons in her show career (one being at The Futurity). ESTATES KATHERINE JOHNSON Katherine is a pretty light fawn female sired by Patagonia’s El Galan, our magnificent 4x champion and multiple blue-ribbon winning herdsire out of Patagonia’s Cayo. El Galan has several quality offspring that are and have been on our show string. In 2017, El Galan won Get of Sire Second Place at both the CABO and California Classic shows. We love what he brings to his progeny! Her maternal grandsire is Patagonia’s Darwin, an award-winning male with a compact body, great structure, bone, coverage, density and a handsome correct headpiece. Darwin is out of one of the top producing silver-grey males in the country! Danko has sired many top national award-winning progeny...including Darwin’s ½ brothers Patagonia’s Lennox and Crescent Moon’s Rayo Del Sol. Jay-Z is a gorgeous 12X Black Champion, with a bloodline comprised of incredible multi-champions. He is the son of 19X Champion, Sunset Hills Zagato, the 2019 Futurity Dark Huacaya Herdsire of the Year and 2019 Futurity Dark Mixed Get of Sire!! (As well as sire of the 2019 Futurity Judges Choice Huacaya Male, Alpaca Palace Zagato's Zumba!) In addition, Jay-Z's paternal grandsire is 382 Peruvian Zephyrus, a Full Peruvian, ½ Accoyo male with 10 Color Championship wins (including the 2002 AOBA National show, 2003 MAPACA, and 2003 PAOBA shows, as well as winning "Reserve Herdsire of the Year" at the 2005 All-American Futurity!)
