Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose (Sizzy) is a simply divine light brown, male with extremely bright fleece, full of high-frequency high amplitude Mirco bundles, as well as carrying a very dense fleece with an amazing handle. Several of the top Judges have called him "The Total Package." With him being an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion & 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been breeding for us for several years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of improvement he has made to our herd. In 2014, we consigned Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose to the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction (AAA) and he ended up selling for $90,000, making him the highest-selling Snowmass Matrix Rose offspring to date. He was sold to Daryl and Shirley Krause of Amber Autumn Alpacas in Oregon. A year later we ended up acquiring half ownership of Sizzy with both of us, Amber Autumn Alpacas and Red Granite Ranch, closing Sizzy to all outside breedings. Though his offspring will be offered at both ranches and depending on the year, some outside breedings may be offered. We, Red Granite Ranch and Amber Autumn Alpacas are very happy to announce that Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose won the 2016 Huacaya Herdsire Of The Year, large breeder Division, as well as the 2017 Reserve Herdsire Of The Year Dark-colored offspring, large breeder Division. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose was mentioned in The American Alpaca Journal, Issue 2, January 2020 in the “Black Ring Demographics” where Sizzy appeared in the top five genetic contributors to the winning black groups in the 2018-19 black ring. Impressive indeed. His ~150 Registered offspring have won around 134 championship banners and 4 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championships as of 2020. Sizzy is the sire to RED GRANITES VAL D LSERE the 2016, 2017, and 2018 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championship winner & LIBERTY'S MANIFEST-DESTINY the 2020 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championship winner. 4 Dark Male Supreme Championship trophies have been sired by Sizzy, no other sire has accomplished this!! Sizzy is now soley owned by Red Granite Ranch, and we have decided to close him to further outside breedings. Bred females can be acquired as can his offspring!

Please meet our 4X COLOR CHAMPION golden show girl, who produces the most exquisite dark fleeced animals!! Irish Meadows' My Lacy is the true testament of how far a fawn female can go to produce color with no sign of dark colored animals throughout her pedigree, the darkest being fawn, no sight of brown, black, or grey. As the first ever Sistina's Accoyo Destinati offspring, she is very special. Her sire is an 8X CHAMPION including a champion win at the AOBA National's. At her first show as a juvenile she pulled down the Color Champion ribbon, then again at her second show! She went on to win a total of 4-color champion banners, out of attending six different shows. One Color Champion win being at the prestigious AOA National Show. The biggest question was, will her offspring carry her fleece qualities? The answer, YES! Her 2017 son, Red Granites Lapu (Sired by Kirwin) took two Reserve Color Championships at the 2020 AOA National Show, one in Fleece and the other in halter . All together he is a 5X CHAMPION. Her 2016 daughter, Red Granites Sizlin Lakota (Sired by Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose) was the 2017 ABR Fall Festival Alpaca Show Halter light Female Reserve Champion winner. Her 2018 daughter, Red Granites Larkspur (Sired by Snowmass Reserved) was the 2020 TXOLAN Alpaca Spectacular Halter Reserve Champion winner. UPDATE 2020: My Lacy threw a BAY BLACK male with our super-stud male -- Red Granites Val D Lsere!! Fine, extreme density, and excellent brightness, a future champion in rotation, for sure! See his fleece picture under our 2020 Cria Fleeces in photo albums, his name is Red Granites Legit By Val D Lsere. To date 12/28/2021 Legit has 9 firsts 3 Reserve Color Championships and 3 Color Championships. My Lacy is bred to Aragon for a 2022 cria, after this we plan on breeding her to Alydar for a 2023 cria.... Fiber and Fleece Description She displays a very bright and shiny, small zipper crimped, and butter soft fleece, which has stayed in low micron number through her life. Proudly Co-Owned with Crescent Moon Ranch and Sopris Alpacas Ranch. Times for when he switches between ranches will soon be released. Limited Outside Breedings Color Genotype: ee a2a2. Fever has sired Best Head & Best Crimp winners! Estates Passionate Fever is a respectable fourteen-time champion and three-time Judges’ Choice winning, light fawn son sired by Snowmass Pure Passion and by Estates El Galan's Yellow Fever. Snowmass Pure Passion represents over 30 years of passionate breeding for the perfect-colored fleece on the most beautiful-bodied alpacas. Snowmass Alpacas said, “Snowmass Pure Passion is the most magnificent Light Fawn Matrix son Snowmass Alpacas has ever produced.” Fever's maternal grandsire is Patagonia’s El Galan, a magnificent four-time champion winning herdsire out of Patagonia’s Cayo. His maternal great grandsire R&R Oliver Twist has consistently produced outstanding offspring in Canada and the U.S., that exhibit fine, uniform fleeces, along with crimp and correct, solid conformation. Passionate Fever has a fleece that is feverishly dense and uniform. In 2019, Passionate Fever was evaluated as an A+ by senior AOA Judge Amanda VandenBosch. "He has excellent substance of bone, balance to frame, fiber coverage, good organization within staple, maintains consistency across fleece, moves to the extremities to neck, good density relative to fineness." Jill Marcellus said, "He’s a very refined looking male, He’s moderately sized, right in the middle there, & that can be very useful in a breeding program. He’s got good balance & proportion, excellent substance of bone, & a very typey male with a good strong phenotype. I really like his head style as well. His fleece is very fine & exceptionally uniform in all the fleece traits. I pulled samples from all over the place on him & really there is virtually no difference from mid-side to right into the front shoulder area to over to the hip. That also carried through with the staple type and also the expression of character through the fleece. It’s very uniform right across his body and underneath his belly." Passionate Fever had three crias (all females) for his previous owners, two light fawns and a beige all by light fawn dams and a beige dam. Passionate Fever will no doubt be a remarkable stud male for us in both light and dark color breeding, he carries everything we want in an Elite Stud from top to bottom. He will be bred over many different colors this year (2022) to see his potency. Fever's offspring are championship winners to boot!
