ESTATES SILVER BOREAS Boreas' sire is Chief Grey Feather, an outstanding producer of champions with dense, soft micron fleece. Paternal "Royal Lineage" Includes: (Accoyo) 4 Peruvian Legacy, (Accoyo) PPPeruvian Grandmaster, PPPeruvian Naomi, Peruvian Nome, Peruvian Matador, plus many generations of black and grey genetics. His dam, Estates Silvery Steel Brittany is out of Neversummer's US Steel. Boreas’ maternal granddam and Desert Deserado’s granddam are one in the same, Janus’ Bewitched, who is out of CR&R Cargual, a great line from Canada. This magnificent medium silver-grey male grew up on the 2017 show string at an early age. Boreas won a Blue-Ribbon in the Bred and Owned Class at Alpaca Breeders Invitational 2017 show. You can see the diversity of color in the class. On our 2018 show string, Judge Peter Kennedy presented Estates Silver Boreas with a Blue Ribbon at the California Classic Show and a 2nd place ribbon at the 2018 CABA Classic show. He also brought home a 2nd place ribbon from the 2018 Alpacapalooza show, presented by Judge Jude Anderson. Boreas filled out, has handsome staple length, soft crimp, and is extremely dense. In 2021, judge Arturo Pena assessed our top alpacas & was impressed by several of Boreas' offspring. ESTATES 38 HEARTFELT HEIDI Heidi's sire is 15x champion and 2x Judge's Choice winner, Aussie .38 Special! So many awards have been presented to this male and his offspring. The most current ones are the 2012 Dark Herdsire of the Year at the All-American Futurity and the 2012 AOBA Fleece Show Grey Color Champion with his sixth fleece! Her dam is The Perfect Honeymoon Bhar who received several ribbons for both halter and fleece. Heidi's maternal grandsire, Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black, is a three time color champion during his short show career and the father of multiple champion offspring. Honeymoon's 1/2 brother, Mile High Deacon Grey has been awarded 14 championships, including the Color Champion at the 2007 Futurity and 2009 AOBA National Show. Heidi is also the full sister to our multi-champion, NeverSummer's Bertie Lou. Earl Grey has his sire's outstanding coverage, large bone, and macho, wedge shaped full head, and stunning classic dark silver-grey color. Earl Grey is sired by DSG multi-champion, Applewoods Phantom. His multi-champion fawn dam is Silver Rose Elegance (who has Cochiti and Legacy as close genetics). Not only are his dam and sire champions, all of his grandparents are champions as well! His paternal grandsire is Jerimiah’s Qualtrain and five-time champion grey. Unfortunately, the covid pandemic limited Earl Grey’s show career. Earl Grey has a beautiful handling fleece in a uniform dark silver-grey color. The color is uniform across his body. The micron range is uniform between his white and black fibers. His first histogram displayed a 17.2 micron, 4.4 standard deviation, and 2.2% over thirty micron. He also carries a very long staple length. The crimp is consistent across his blanket and has a high frequency. The fleece shows great brightness with an excellent degree of density. MC1R + ASIP Genotype: Ee aa Earl Grey has already displayed his ability to pass these traits onto his offspring. His 2023 daughter, Estates Danish Silver Mermaid, is currently a 4x Champion with numerous Blue Ribbons.
