Love, love, love this guy, his stats, his offspring... Love everything about him! Steel is so very fine! He has also inherited his sire's trademark silky handle. As he matured, Steel's uniformity and retained fineness brought him to the very top of his extremely competitive classes in the ring. The judges consistently commented on his extreme fineness and soft handle and now his histogram numbers fully support this. Steel is a handsome male with an excellent breeding background and has matured into an elite macho, who has produced champion offspring of his own! Steel's dam, Crescent Moon's Starbright is a lovely Rayo Del Sol daughter who was a blue ribbon winner and a reserve champion in the ring herself. She was a gentle female and proved to be a topnotch breeder and mother. At 6 yrs of age, Starbright's fleece was still 21 microns. Steel continued his show career just months before his 3rd birthday at the 2012 Futurity placing 1st in a competitive class under judge Peter Kennedy. At the 2012 GWAS he was 1st and Reserve Color and the oldest male in his class at 34.7 months and Judge Jude Anderson commented on his fineness, uniformity of color and beautiful fleece character that is still being retained at his age. This is truly remarkable for a male just shy of 36 months to be so competitive in a class of 48 grey males! The color champion was rose grey, so Steel was the best silver grey male at this show! Although winning and ribbons are fun and good, but the true test of a great herdsire is in his offspring. Once more Steel continues to shine both in the brightness, fineness and soft silky handle of his offspring's fleece as well as the beautiful look he stamps on each offspring!

Catriona is a beautiful medium silver grey. She is fine, bright with a good crimp style. Her blanket has one little spot. Cat has a strong and straight conformation. She is an outstanding mother, an easy breeder. She births easily and has loads of milk. She comes from a very strong silver & black lineage and her offspring reflect this strong pedigree. SIRE: Wintercreek's Navarre of Challenger (MSG), is a pigmented grey. His grey fiber looks blue. His lineage include Legend's Challenger of KPR, 5P Royal Inca Legend & Hemingway. Navarre was a multiple blue ribbon winner. DAM: Wintercreek's Sieva (TB), a fine true black that produces silver when bred to silver. Sieva is a consistent producer. Her lineage includes Peruvian Black Epic, 4P Black Magic, KPR Pewter, 5P Klassique Grey , PLS's Silver Empress, Michelangelo & P Guellermo. Catriona's first cria is a TB female (WC's Laoghaire) out of Wintercreek's Jamison (MF). She is super fine and is a fiber monster with perfect phenotype. Catriona's 2nd cria is a MSG female (WC's Audra) out of Neversummer's US Steel. Steel is a 3X recipient of the coveted "Herdsire of the Year" award. He has an outstanding show ring history and his offspring are doing exceptional in the show ring. Catriona will be a very strong addition to any silver, rose grey or black breeding program.

Picasso by Kolbe is new to Wintercreek's Herdsire Row this year. He will be beginning his breeding career in the Spring of 2025. He has a lot of Grey and Rose Grey females just waiting in line!! Picasso's lineage is very deep. On the top side he is out of Crescent Moon's Kolbe (LRG), a multiple-multiple championship winner. From there to CM's Wilkinson (MSG), Accoyo America Jason, CM's Rayo Del Sol (MRG), Danko (MRG) and on.... On his bottom (Dam's side) CM's Accoyo Realaza (LF), 4Peruvian Legacy (WH), Principio and Legacy's El Duro (F). Lots of color!! Picasso's fleece was just shorn when he moved to Wintercreek and his fleece did not come with him. What I see, at present, is bundles, tight crimp from skin to end. He has spots, but that excites me because of range of colors it can include. His handle is super soft and I can warm my hands in it...when he lets me. Picasso is also in the Top 5% of 2024 EPDs. I am looking forward to the breeding season and next spring's crop!
