Wintercreek's Jamison passed in 2024. We miss him a lot. He was a gentle herdsire, always patient and always gentle. Jamison had his last cria in August 2024. This offspring, JamieMac Jamison, has all of Jamison's fiber traits. Very high luster, excellent and consistent crimp. Extreme density and wonderful fineness. JamiMac is a stunner and will make a great herdsire himself. Jamison is an amazing medium fawn breeding male. He has very strong bloodlines: Hemingway, Dracula, Pluro and Peruvian Mr. President. Sound genetics for generations. He is phenotypically correct. His conformation is strong and straight and his head is very typey. Full face and top-knot, with crimp! His fiber is very dense with an extremely high-frequency crimp that is fine enough to create wonderful bundles. The luster is very bright and his uniformity is consistent from deep shoulder to hip. He passes his high luster, density and crimp style on to his offspring every time. Jamison was VERY EASY to handle. He had a very gentle personality. We did a lot of mobile breeding, and going to new farms has never been a problem. He jumped in the trailer every time and we very rarely had to return to the same farm twice. Wintercreek's Jamison passed in 2024. He is very much missed. His herd mates looked for him for weeks, expecting him to come home like he always did. He has thrown almost every color, but he consistently threw Rose Grey when bred to grey females! His cria always bring home a ribbon! I have kept Jamison on my list because he had his last cria in 2024. A stunning LB male out of a MRG female. We named him "JamieMac Jamison" in honor of his sire. JamieMac has extreme density and consistency from shoulder to hip. Nice tight crimp with lovely little bundles. And extremely high luster which he inherited from his Sire. Catriona is a beautiful medium silver grey. She is fine, bright with a good crimp style. Her blanket has one little spot. Cat has a strong and straight conformation. She is an outstanding mother, an easy breeder. She births easily and has loads of milk. She comes from a very strong silver & black lineage and her offspring reflect this strong pedigree. SIRE: Wintercreek's Navarre of Challenger (MSG), is a pigmented grey. His grey fiber looks blue. His lineage include Legend's Challenger of KPR, 5P Royal Inca Legend & Hemingway. Navarre was a multiple blue ribbon winner. DAM: Wintercreek's Sieva (TB), a fine true black that produces silver when bred to silver. Sieva is a consistent producer. Her lineage includes Peruvian Black Epic, 4P Black Magic, KPR Pewter, 5P Klassique Grey , PLS's Silver Empress, Michelangelo & P Guellermo. Catriona's first cria is a TB female (WC's Laoghaire) out of Wintercreek's Jamison (MF). She is super fine and is a fiber monster with perfect phenotype. Catriona's 2nd cria is a MSG female (WC's Audra) out of Neversummer's US Steel. Steel is a 3X recipient of the coveted "Herdsire of the Year" award. He has an outstanding show ring history and his offspring are doing exceptional in the show ring. Catriona will be a very strong addition to any silver, rose grey or black breeding program.

Irish Meadows' Endeavor is a stunning True Black breeding male. "E" is new to the herd. He will have many cria on the ground in August, 2024. His sire, Jacob Black, throws grey, so am excited to see what he can throw. Finger's crossed! What I was looking for, however, is his fiber characteristics. A tight, small crimp with an abundance of density, but staying very fine. His phenotype is lovely, perfect bit and solid bone structure. He is a complete package. Endy had a very successful 2024 breeding season. He produced 1 MSG Male, 1 DSG Female, 1 LB/RG Female and 1 DB Male. Each cria is beautiful. Density on all four, color and crimp style is uniform from shoulder to hip. And, of course, fineness. He will be busy again at Wintercreek this spring!
