Faraway Farm Aladdin

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 31478588DOB: 10/12/200915 yrs
Aladdin is a large-framed male with superior genetics, flawless confirmation, and gorgeous rose-colored fleece. His big boned and stout body gives him a massive, regal appearance has he approaches. His fleece is fine, crimpy, and very dense with an amazing staple length for his age. Judges have called Aladdin "the complete package" due to his conformation and fleece qualities. His sire, Grey Skies, is a multi-ribbon winning male with an initial micron reported as 16.6! Grey Skies is out of Snowmass Sterling Silver who won many blue ribbons, as well as, a color championship. He was said to have been "ideal, one of a kind, and the stud to breed to for grey production." We can't leave out other big names on Aladdin's sire's side like Legacy, Bueno, Casanova, and Incan Magic! His dam's lineage is equally as impressive! Gypsy Rose is also a multi-ribbon winning animal with great confirmation and fiber. Her Sire, SPA Peruvian El Senor, sold for $165,000.00 in 2006. Her lineage also boasts other big names like Vengador, Auzengate, and Chimbote. Like his parents, Aladdin has also done very well in the show ring. His first cria is a beautiful silver grey that is built just like his dad. He sold before he was six months old! Interested in bringing these great genetics to your herd? OLWA Quasar's Jaquay

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 32574852DOB: 5/28/201311 yrs
Jaquay is a beautiful true black girl with a dense, bright fleece displayed in a bold crimp. Her coverage is from head to toe with a great staple length. She is a sturdy girl with large bone, great confirmation, and a beautiful head. She is out of a MSG sire and a TB dam. Jaquay has an impressive heritage behind her which probably explains all of her positive traits. Her lineage includes big names like Shaquille, Quicksilver, Silvio, Leon, Silverado, and Emilo. Her sire is Quasar, a medium silver grey male that has produced many winning offspring. He, himself, has won many awards including Get of Sire in 2011 and Reserve Champion in 2005. His sire is the well-known Shaquille who sold for $310,000.00 at the 2005 Breeder’s Choice Auction. Her dam, Dujy, is a true black female that has produced all true black offspring other than one dark rose grey male. Her grandsires are 5Peruvian Silverado and PPeruvian Emilio. Jaquay definitely has the potential to throw some awesome crias in our two favorite colors – black and grey. We are happy to have her as part of our foundation herd. Update 2017 - Jaquay produced a true black male with Aladdin. He's been sold!

Description

The match-up between our rose grey herdsire, Aladdin, with our true black girl, JaQuay, worked out beautifully! JoaQuín is exceptionally black with no white or light fibers. He hit the ground running, and is a strong, stocky little guy. Both of his parents have a large frame and big bone - this guy is going to be stunning. He's covered in tight ringlets and curls, and his fiber is bright and vibrant. We're excited to see how JoaQuín grows and develops. He will be joining our show string in 2018. We can't wait to see what this guy has in store for us.
