Description

Here's another outstanding female sired by our own Bellagio of PVA! Her name resulted out of a striking resemblence to her sire and also "the look" that we are evermore creating and striving for in our breeding direction. "Looker" is maturing into a nice sized female. Her fleece is very dense and crimpy which is indicative of her sire. These characteristics, along with fineness and a very soft hand are exhibiting throughout her entire fleece from topknot to rump. She's also got a "tinge of gray" peeking out in her legs and cheeks. If you are wondering why, that's because her grandsire was the renowned General Schwarzkopf, a very successful male in his day. She would be a perfect match to our new herdsire, Snowmass Porteus, when she reaches breeding age. His brown fleece will go toe-to-to with ANY elite white fleece. And, if you've read anything that has been said about this guy, you'll know why we're convinced this breeding decision will result in a fabulous cria. Snowmass Porteus was used in Snowmass Alpaca's color breeding program which resulted in superiour fleece equal to the most elite whites.
