Wintercreek's Jamison passed in 2024. We miss him a lot. He was a gentle herdsire, always patient and always gentle. Jamison had his last cria in August 2024. This offspring, JamieMac Jamison, has all of Jamison's fiber traits. Very high luster, excellent and consistent crimp. Extreme density and wonderful fineness. JamiMac is a stunner and will make a great herdsire himself. Jamison is an amazing medium fawn breeding male. He has very strong bloodlines: Hemingway, Dracula, Pluro and Peruvian Mr. President. Sound genetics for generations. He is phenotypically correct. His conformation is strong and straight and his head is very typey. Full face and top-knot, with crimp! His fiber is very dense with an extremely high-frequency crimp that is fine enough to create wonderful bundles. The luster is very bright and his uniformity is consistent from deep shoulder to hip. He passes his high luster, density and crimp style on to his offspring every time. Jamison was VERY EASY to handle. He had a very gentle personality. We did a lot of mobile breeding, and going to new farms has never been a problem. He jumped in the trailer every time and we very rarely had to return to the same farm twice. He has thrown almost every color, but he consistently threw Rose Grey when bred to grey females! His cria always bring home a ribbon!
