SuriHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 824093DOB: 7/8/200025 yrs
Silver Marquis is a second generation Medium Silver Grey, full Peruvian herd sire. He has sired 100% suri offspring over 98% of which have been colored. Silver Marquis has produced 47% grays, 45% blacks and browns, with the balance being fawn, beige and white. His gray and colored offspring have gone on to be color champions at the largest and most prestigious shows in the country (AAA Futurity, AOBA, MAPACA, GWAS & OABA). Some of his better known offspring include, Platinum Marquis, Silver Marquis’ Platinum Plus, GLR Marakesh, WLK Silver Threads, GLR Oriana, WLK Miss Satin, Marquis Greystone, & GLR Abbey River, to name a few. Silver Marquis serviced only ten outside females in his first year of production and has been closed to outside females ever since. Now is your chance to again get his genetics. As new owners we are offering breeding's to Silver Marquis once again. What a great chance to have a champion Grey Herd sire breeding. Grey represents less than 3% of the total Alpaca population. Grey fiber is in great demand, and pays a high premium. We offer live birth guarantee, 60 days free boarding, confirmed pregnancy and ultrasound at 30 days. UPDATE: Silver just sired 2 new crias, 1 a True Black, and the other a Silver Rose Gray Female. Both born May 2010, and from Light Fawn Females.

Introducing Good Fortune's Accoyo Macusani... A fabulous Full Accoyo stud with an impressive pedigree that would Make Don Julio Barreda very proud. Sired by Humming Hill Suri Farm's HHSF Accoyo Peruvian Don Julio and out of our very favorite Full Accoyo dam, DDF Accoyo Princess Iris, Macusani's grandsires are none other than the legendary studs PPeruvian Ramilo and PPeruvian Bruxo (now both deceased). Macusani is registered as white, but his fleece is actually beige, and according to Australian fiber expert Ian Watt, Macusani is a "fading fawn" in color. He has medium fawn ancestors on both sides of his pedigree. Macusani's fleece is oh, so lustrous, with tiny pencil-locks. He's big-boned, with a broad, square chest and a compact, athletic build. His first cria born on our farm? -- a FAWN Full Accoyo male, GFF Accoyo Augustine. His price does not reflect his pedigree or his stud quality -- it's simply time for us to retire from alpaca breeding. Macusani is a steal of a deal at this price.

Description

WLK Shades of Black is a beautiful true black suri out of a true black dam. Her sire is medium silver grey, with medium rose grey and medium silver grey parents. The "WLK" in her name is the farm designator for Mike & Janet Wilkins' elite breeding program -- they're widely known for the very best in black and grey suri genetics. We haven't paired Shades with a black sire, but when bred to medium fawn or white males, she has produced dark brown crias with black (and grey!) accents on their faces/feet. She is ready to breed now. We'll include a complimentary breeding to any Good Fortune Farms herdsire.
