People talk about their herdsires having impact genetics....You can't get stronger impact than Calisto! Caligula, Victor and Hemingway, that's what I call the herdsire hall of fame! Accoyo Sara was, and still is, the cornerstone of the Timberland Alpacas breeding program in Oregon. Sara is considered to be a strong of a genetic line as Caligula, Hemingway or Victor. Calisto is the true meaning of HEMIACCOYO!! Calisto is a very dense, fine and crimp herdsire that improves all of the females he breeds. His fiber has wonderful luster and an excellent staple length. He will certainly produce show winners and, in fact, already has! One of his sons, Sip of Starbucks, is a multiple blue ribbon winner in some very tough west coast shows. Another son of his that we own, AFR's Spain, is an amazing male with some of the best fiber that I have ever seen. DON'T JUST BREED...BREED ELITE!
