Yipee Skippee!! Francisco has his first Champ progeny!! Derwydd Francisco's Anka took the Reserve Black Color Champion at AlpacaMania 2007!! YEA!! Congrats to M & R Alpacas in Ohio where Anka is making a new home and a NAME as a herdsire!! Heritage: Full Peruvian (Pinaya; Nunua, Laquina, Tamana) Francisco's crias are incredible, BONE, straight legs, bright fleeces! We are very pleased at the color and quality of these crias [They're winning in the ring!!] And VERY excited about the future with this stud! Here is a beautiful black male with a majestic style, solid bone, incredible head, glossy, soft, and luminous fleece. And the judges agree. He has had a fantastic show career with a competitive wins in major shows. Francisco comes from a completely colored pedigree. His dam, Peruvian Francine [deceased] was a lovely dark brown and out of dark fawn 6Peruvian the Saint. His sire, KPR of Aladdin is bay black; his famous grandsire 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend was silver grey. With the passing of Inca Legend, these genetics are much rarer and more valued - very much so here on the West Coast where this bloodline is limited in its availability. 2005: AFD = 19.5 S.D = 3.2 C.V = 16.4 %>30 = 0.9 SL = not recorded Growth=? TShear Weight not recorded 2006: AFD = 23.1 S.D = 4.6 C.V = 19.8 %>30 = 7.8 SL = 95mm Growth = 360 days TShear Weight not recorded Co-owned with Crescent Moon Ranch.

Dam: PC Darlena

Reproduce her lovely cria for YOUR herd!

PC Darlena

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 31495967DOB: 10/10/200816 yrs
Her dam is dark brown (with Accoyo Titan in her bloodline), her sire is Bay Black with grey in his background. And wait a minute....is that a white head with a fawn blanket? And grey eyeshadow and lipstick? Maybe Darlena could throw a grey cria? Her first 2 crias are lovely fawn females, very feminine, with perfect conformations. Darlena is an average sized female with a sturdy, balanced conformation. She has been an excellent mother to her two daughters. Darlena had an injury to her upper lip several years ago--it is healed and stable but there is a mild deformity. It certainly has not impaired her appetite, health, or fertility! She comes with a free breeding to any of our herdsires (or those of SoCal Suri Alpacas), which can be transferred to any of your females. For Darlena, I'd suggest a re-match with Chayo, or perhaps our Accoyo America Hawkeye--a fawn, full-Accoyo son of El Nino. We also have a Junior Herdsire, Manchu's Sun Tzu, who is fawn and would be fabulous for Darlena! Why are we selling Darlena for so little? We are overloaded with alpacas and crias, and we need to lower our inventory! Darlena has arrived at her new digs at Alpacas of Marin in the north San Francisco Bay area.

Service Sire: Dundee's AJ Stormcat

TB Champion, Sire of TB Champions!

Dundee's AJ Stormcat

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 1434518DOB: 8/19/200717 yrs
COLOR CHAMPION!! Stormcat is VERY black (3 of his 4 grandparents are black!)--it's late summer, and his fleece is Blue-Black--it actually looks like black velvet! He has a long long staple, a very bright fleece with pleasing medium crimp and organized structure. Very big bone on a correct, compact frame, with a level topline and fleece all the way THRU his toes. He has a teddy bear head that is so appealing on huacayas, with a good bite, and a pleasing personality that is worth breeding for, aside from everything else! Stormcat’s pedigree is a "who's who" of names – Accoyo Camilio, Pperuvian Guellermo, CPeruvian Jaxon as an impressive sampling. His sire is a 4x Champ with retained fineness in his fleece – at 8 years old he was still holding a 22 micron fleece – this is a heritable trait! Sire Axtion Jaxon is known for throwing dark color and grey, and Stormcat has EVEN MORE black in his heritage. Stormcat's crias are on the ground--a BRIGHT fawn out of fawn, and a fabulous bay black (with a silver nose!) out of a light fawn dam. His third cria, a dark brown girl, is clearly improved from her dam--she has bright, finely crimped, consistent and organized fleece, and an adorable conformation--she won 2 championships plus numerous blue ribbons and sold at a year of age. There's also a lovely black girl who has taken 2 Championships, and a black male who took a blue ribbon his first time out-- and more to come. In addition to passing on his dark genetics, Stormcat seems to pass on his perfect, compact conformation and head, fineness (for black), good growth in the crucial first 6 months, and outrageously long and luxuriant eyelashes! BREAKING NEWS: EACH of Stormcat's five crias for Alpacas of Marin has taken home a blue ribbon in halter competition their first time in the ring, and 2 of the 5 (Chukulati and her full sister Iquique) have taken color championships their first time out! Hey--looks like the "barn party" last July resulted in a Suri girl having a Stormcat cria, and he's absolutely adorable. So Stormcat can even improve your Suris! (not an official recommendation...) WHOO-HOO!! Stormcat placed 3rd of 11 in very, very tough competition for the Dark/Mixed Get of Sire Class at the 2013 SWRAS! We are absolutely thrilled to have him place behind Amber Autumns' Eclipse Alyst and Marquam Hill's Snowmass Trilogy--Stormcat placed above outstanding herdsires that are practically "household names"! Stormcat has made the rounds of West Coast Alpacas ranches over the years, but he has finally come to his "real" home at Alpacas of Marin in the North San Francisco Bay area--west of Petaluma and Novato. We have Stormcat and his champion True Black son, Torrefacto. We figure we will sell one of them and be thrilled to keep the other. We have a lot of Stormcat offspring now, so it's time to sell off either him or his son.

Description

MRN Nazca is a daughter of the illustrious Peruvian Francisco, a bay black Champion known for bright and fine fleece. He has Aladdin of KPR and Peruvian Inca Legend in his background, and many champion offspring to his credit. Her dam, PC Darlena, is a well-conformed fawn girl with nice bundling and a cute conformation. But, talk about conformation--our Nazca reminds us of the dancer, Juliet Prowse (remember, "Hey, Big Spender...?!). She has a lovely, long-legged grace with a level topline and nice bone, and a very cute head to go with those light fawn bundles of fleece. Nazca brings excellent color genetics, and she could do well bred to one of our black herdsires, Stormcat or his son, Torrefacto. Nazca was bred to Stormcat on July 8, 2015 and carried the pregnancy well, but had a 2 week premature cria that did not survive. She is ready to re-breed. We would suggest either our muylti-champion black male, Torrefacto, one of our outstanding Matrix grandsons, our fabulous Accoyo Manchu son Sun Tzu, or our Matrix son, Lord of Sipan (when he returns from his duties in South Carolina). Our multi-champ fawn male, Chayo, would also be an excellent choice. Nazca has come home to Alpacas of Marin in the north San Francisco Bay area.
