He is a rare GREY son of our signature black herdsire MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite, whom we believe to be the most successful black herdsire in our industry, a black male who produces grey when bred to grey. Silver Bugatti is a multiple champion who at the 2008 AOBA National Conference fleece show won the Male Grey Reserve Color Championship! His fleece is dense with a high-frequency, high-amplitude crimp style, extremely rare for grey alpacas. His dam is Peruvian Beretta, daughter of Peruvian Brunetta, dam of LMFI Peruvian Buena, who sold in the 2007 Breeder’s Choice Auction for $105,000 to Double “O” Good Alpacas. Brunetta is maternal sister to five-time grey champion Peruvian Breathless. Silver Bugatti’s offspring exhibit his same fleece density, tight crimp and fineness.
