Description
Calypso is very well suited for a breeding program that wants to develop seedstock production as well as improve the quality of their offspring and herd fleece production. The fact that this male ranks in the top one percent of all male huacayas is proof that he will make dramatic improvements in his offspring. He has always stood out among all our top males...always placed in every show he was entered into. Top show placements and top EPDs are a very rare combination as each of these evaluation systems look at an animal from totally different perspectives. He is the combination of the best of his Dam and Sire's genetics to produce great conformation and a fleece which is amazing. He has exquisite fleece. He is priced low as his bite is a bit long and will need trimming.
Centaur is a high caliber herdsire and exhibits all the qualities you would expect. He has a very soft, dense and uniform fleece with excellent character and brightness. Calypso is ranked in the top 15 off all white males for reducing AFD and increasing FW listed in the ARI-EPD program. He is the ideal accumulation of top genetics, and will be a true contributor in the world of Super Royal Alpaca breeding.
