SAD NEWS: Porteus died in Summer 2010. We will miss him greatly. His offspring will have a lasting impact on our herd for years to come. Blue Gate Papaya has gorgeous medium fawn fleece. She seems to have inherited her sires fleece character and her dam's color genetics. Her sire is a signature Accoyo stud, 4Peruvian Pachacuti. Pachacuti has been producing outstanding offspring, passing on his Accoyo fleece type to his offspring. Papaya's dam is one of our original foundation females WLA Red Poppy. Poppy is a Chilean import who has provided us with a string of outstanding offspring. When bred to quality males she has consistenly produced quality offspring - she won 3rd place in produce of dam at the TXOLAN show. We are especially pleased that she finally gave us a female.
