When looking over the qualities that a female alpaca needs to have to be considered a "foundation female" you can easily separate the great ones from the good ones. Misty is a GREAT foundation female and without a doubt the favorite alpaca on our farm. We have owned her since she was 7 months old and to date she has given us 4 exceptional black cria - 3 females and most recently her first male. All four of these offspring have ribboned in the show ring with two of her females being blue ribbon winners! She imprints her laid back, easy going disposition on all her offspring and is truly an asset to our breeding program and an animal that has given us many hours of enjoyment.
